Some Famous Black Composers born before 1850, CSB Vol. 2. This is a 25 page (8.5" x 11") soft cover book telling the story of 18 Black composers, complete with illustrations of the likeness of the composers. This book is written for school children through middle school and as a springboard for further research by high school students. It features composers from as far back as the 1700s including Ignatius Sancho, Jose Silvestre de los Dolores White, Chevalier de Saint Georges, Frank Johnson and others from around the world.
